Delete your ShiftBuddy account & data

1. Sign in to ShiftBuddy.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Account security (or open Account security).
3. Scroll to Delete my account, type DELETE and tap Delete my account permanently.

Your account and associated data are deleted immediately.

If you can't sign in, or prefer us to do it for you, email us from the address linked to your account (or tell us that address in your message):

We will confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days, then email you to confirm.

• Your account, sign-in credentials and email address.
• Your profile details — name, date of birth, role, department, workplace, bio, avatar and cover photos.
• Your shift preferences and availability settings.
• Your notifications and push-notification device tokens.
• Your blocks, mutes and connection/follow records.
• Your two-factor backup codes and security settings.
• Any ID verification documents you uploaded for the Verified badge.

• Payment records (e.g. verification purchases) are kept for up to 7 years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements. These contain no profile content.
• Safety and moderation records (reports or enforcement actions) may be kept for up to 12 months where needed to keep the community safe or meet legal obligations.
• Content you posted to shared spaces may remain in anonymised form, with your name and profile removed.

Once these retention periods end, the remaining records are deleted or fully anonymised.
